Caprese Salad

Garlic & Herb Side Dishes Vegetables

INGREDIENTS (4 servings):

  • 3 large tomatoes, 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 1 pound fresh mozzarella, 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 20 to 30 leaves fresh basil
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Coarse salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic & Herb F.I.T. Brine


  • Layer alternating tomatoes slices, mozzarella slices and basil leaves on a large platter.
  • Drizzle the salad with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
