Flavor Recommendations: Any F.I.T. BrineTM Flavor
INGREDIENTS (4 servings):
- 4 x 8oz skinless boneless chicken breast
- 2oz (approximately 1/3 cup) F.I.T. BrineTM
- 2 cups water
DIRECTIONS:
- Place chicken breast in a Ziplock bag
- Add 2oz F.I.T. BrineTM and 2 cups of water. Seal the bag and shake till spices and water are mixed. (~Note~ attempt to remove air before sealing)
- Allow chicken to brine in the fridge for minimum 6hrs (~Optional~ if brining for less than 8 hrs, it may not be necessary to refrigerate while brining)
- ~Optional~ Take chicken out of the fridge and allow time for chicken to reach room temperature (approx. 4 hrs, as part of the brining time)
- Line a baking sheet/dish with aluminum foil
- Preaheat over to 300°F
- Take chicken out of the bag and place in baking dish. (~Optional~ For added flavor strain the brine and top the chicken with the spice/herb mixture)
- Bake 50-60 min or until chicken is cooked through (~Optional~ Takes about 55min in my oven)
- Take chicken out of the oven and allow it to rest for about 10min
- Serve with recommended side dishes (Found in the Vegetables & Sides Section)
