Flavor Recommendations: Garlic & Herb, Jamaican Jerk, Savory Chipotle F.I.T. BrineTM
INGREDIENTS (8 servings):
- 1oz (approximately half of 1/3 cup) F.I.T. BrineTM
- 8 large cap portabella mushrooms
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 large diced onion
- 1 pound crabmeat
- 1 pound premade cornbread
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Clean the portabella mushroom caps and remove the stems
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the mushrooms on the sheet
- Dice the mushroom stems and the onion
- In a pan or skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, garlic, mushrooms, and onion and stir-fry till tender
- Tear apart the corn bread till roughly crumbled
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked mushroom stems and onions, crabmeat, cornbread, and cheddar cheese
- Add 1oz (approximately half of 1/3 cup) F.I.T. BrineTM and mix thoroughly
- Spoon, in even proportions, the crab and cornbread mixture onto the portabella mushroom caps. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over each
- Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden.
